Canberra to Coffs Harbour direct flights to recommence in January 2025
In partnership with Link Airways, Canberra Airport is delighted to announce the recommencement of direct flights between Canberra and Coffs Harbour starting 23 January 2025.
Initially launched in September 2022 as a seasonal service, the route proved highly popular with travellers. Link Airways again offers convenient, twice-weekly direct flights, which will operate until the end of April with an attractive launch fare of $309 one-way.
Canberra Airport’s Head of Aviation, Michael Thomson, is pleased to welcome the return of the service to Coffs Harbour.
“We’re excited to reconnect travellers with Coffs Harbour, providing an easy gateway for Canberrans to explore this hidden gem on the Mid North Coast. With its pristine beaches, lush rainforests, and stunning mountain escarpments, Coffs Harbour offers a nature lover’s paradise,” Mr Thomson said.
“This direct service also brings opportunities for mid-north coast locals to experience Canberra and the region’s world-class events, rich culture, and exceptional restaurants and wineries.”
Jeff Boyd, Manager of Network Strategy at Link Airways, said, “We are pleased to reintroduce this service. The previous success of this route gives us confidence that travellers will once again embrace the convenience of these direct flights,” Mr Boyd said.
“This announcement strengthens connectivity between the ACT and the Coffs Coast, benefiting business and leisure travellers alike.”
Link Airways, a Canberra-owned airline, currently operates services across five states and territories to 15 destinations. Link Airways is owned by Corporate Air, one of the longest-established aviation service providers in eastern Australia.
