Parking Information
Indoor Parking
For convenience and safety, we have two multi-level indoor car parks located at the terminal with direct access to the arrivals and departures levels. Our indoor car parks are coloured BLUE and GREEN.
Both indoor car parks offer 1,000 parking spaces and our Parking Guidance System provides the exact number of available parking spaces parking spaces on each level. Ceiling-installed LED red/green lights will assist you in locating vacant and occupied parking bays.
Vehicle height restriction in the multi-level car parks is 2.3m.

Outdoor Parking
Located near the terminal, our two outdoor car parks each offer 450 parking spaces.
Our outdoor car parks provide great value with weekend and long-stay parking specials while being located only minutes from the terminal.

Express Parking
The Express parking is located on the ground floor of the GREEN indoor car park just a short, 20-metre covered walk from the arrivals hall. This close proximity to the terminal makes it ideal for those who are short on time plus it includes the comforts of a dedicated waiting lounge should your pick-up be late.
Here’s how – drivers
Enter your credit card at the entry boom gate and enter the same credit card into the exit boom gate as you leave. Alternatively, you can take an entry ticket and pay your nominated fee using the pay machines provided.

As a passenger, you can meet your collector in the baggage hall or in the car park. Alternatively, if they haven’t arrived yet, you can wait in the comfort of our Express waiting lounge.

I’ve taken a ticket at entry as my booking QR code wasn’t recognised?
Please have your booking number ready and press the help button at the exit boom gate and our team will be able to help you – this is manned 24/7.
What happens if I need to extend my booking due to a flight delay?
If you stay longer than your booking, you will need to pay an additional rate when exiting. If extra payment pay is required, it will ask you to pay at the boom gate at your time of exit.
How do I obtain a copy of my receipt for my for booking?
Visit prebook.canberraairport.com.au Log into your account and click My Reservations to view your bookings. Click on the booking and click the receipt icon.

Can I enter with a different vehicle?
To avoid any disruption while entering the car park we recommend using the vehicle you registered on your booking for a hassle free entry and to avoid any accidental additional charges on exit. As a part of your booking confirmation you will receive a QR that you can use if you need to bring a different vehicle or if there is any issues with your vehicle registration being recognised at the entry or exit gate.
Do I have an allocated space with my booking?
No, you do not have a specific space to park, you are free to park in any available space in the car park which is noted on your booking.
What payment methods are accepted when making my prebooking?
We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, as well as debit cards. Unfortunately, cash payments are not accepted for online bookings.
Is there a fee for cancelling my booking?
Yes, cancellations made less than 24 hours before your booking time will incur a fee. For more information, please refer to the terms and conditions on the booking page.
Can I change my booking?
Yes, you can modify your booking up to 24 hours before your scheduled entry time by logging into your account at prebook.canberraairport.com.au. Go to "My Reservations" and select the booking you wish to change.
