Direct flights to Fiji to increase to three times weekly
Following a positive response to direct flights from Canberra to Nadi, Canberra Airport and Fiji Airways are pleased to today announce that from 1 October, the service will increase from twice weekly, to three times weekly. The service, launching on 21 July, will initially operate on Tuesdays and Fridays, and from October, Sundays.
Canberra Airport’s Managing Director, Stephen Byron, is pleased to welcome the additional schedule from October. “The strong forward bookings for flights to Fiji is a clear indicator of the demand for international travel from Canberra. We are excited to relaunch our international operations and thank Fiji Airways for their strong show of support for the Nation’s Capital.”

With the launch of this route, Fiji Airways will operate 22 direct services to Nadi, and offer the only direct service connecting Canberra to Nadi.
